Pandemic Ka Lang, I am Filipino

The CVID-19 pandemic has resulted in severe economic and social impacts around the world. Sometimes it takes one's world falling apart for the most beautiful mosaic to be built up from the broken pieces of wreckage. Covid has helped us out things in perspective.Covid has been a time for reflection and self awareness. Awareness of one self is important in times like this.

Mask can help prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others. Mask alone do not protect against COVID-19 ,and should be combined with physical distancing and hand hygiene. Follow the advice provided by your local health authority.

As the number of cases continues to spike, uncertainties loom. Work, classes, and even transportation are suspended. There are long lines in the grocery stores. Some basic commodities are becoming scarce.
From alcohol, masks and personal protective equipment (PPEs) that are meant to be protecting the frontliners have been unavailable in the market.

Indeed, the COVID-19 pandemic is causing difficulties, rendering the underprivileged in the country more vulnerable.

Despite these difficulties, one thing is certain, the "bayanihan spirit" is alive and innate in us Filipinos. The advent of calls for volunteer-driven relief efforts in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic is evidence that the Filipino bayanihan thrives in times of crisis.

COVID-19 affects the change of environment.Young people are particularly vulnerable to the disruptions the pandemic has caused. It affects how we think, feel and act. This pandemic is stressful.

There's so much realization that hit us especially young people.  Filipino youth are responding to the crisis through public health promotion, volunteering and innovation. Many of the youth  want to change the world for the better. The filipino youth has been active in addressing food security, supporting healthcare, supporting workers, promoting civil accountability, among others. So, the Filipino youth can contribute in the society amidst the global pandemic. We are the future generation of our country.

STRUGGLE makes you STRONGER. We are ONE, We are FILIPINO.

REFLECTION

In every students like me, we cannot elude finding out some interested things ,somewhat we don't know and trying to discover new. Things that will help you in the near future. It was exciting yet challenging to discover new things.

I had gather lot of things and build up new knowledge that will guide me in doing things. Everyone cannot evade having problems or challenges, the only thing we can do is to face it and dig up solutions about that certain problem or challenges that we face in our everyday lives . How did  I addressed this ?I addressed this as  motivation to do things that I am passionate with and do improve in the next grading period that will come and continue to study more.

More challenges that will come that had to deal with and for me to ascertain.

Change:It starts with me

I know I can't change the past. Not my mistake or the mistakes of others but I can begin by changing me.

Change is the most difficult phenomenon that may happen in life. Though we experience hardships, torturers and other form of abuse, we still go away from change because of the sad reality that we are used to live a difficult life and the worst is this difficult life has provided us a subtle comfort zone that has made us coward and afraid of change.

A man is a product of his thoughts, what he thinks he becomes. If you want to you will be. You have the power to change your life, you may not change everything that happens on this world, but you can change the way you live and eventually, they will see your change and will be inspired to do same thing.

Vigan City Fiesta Celebration

The Vigan City Fiesta is held every January 25, Biguenos from all over the country and even abroad return to Vigan, as it is the custom of filipinos to return to their hometown to join family and friends in the celebration of their fiesta.

Participants from the different neighboring provinces in the northern region are also sent to compete in the various games and activities, particularly the street dancing competiton. This participation by other municipalities makes the Vigan City fiesta not only a local event participated in by Vigan's officials, but a national event participated in by other public heads and national officials. Within the Vigan City Fiesta days, the longganisa Festival is also celebrated.

Longganisa-themed parade and at one time attempted to set a record for having the longest longganisa ever made. The festival has become a crowd-drawer as Vigan longganisa, a native version of Mexican salami, has a distinct garlicky taste that has become a favorite of then Filipino Palate. Though other manufacturers have tried to copy the Vigan Longganisa is a centuries-old tradition of the local makers and all if not the most of the ingredients used in making the native sausage is sourced from Vigan.

REFLECTION

It was exciting yet challenging to discover new things. To sort things in our own is really hard. We encounter problems in able to learn from it and not be the reason of our own downfall.
Everyone cannot evade having problems and challenges in their way, the only way we can do is to face it and never turn our back. Everyone of us should address this our own motivation not our own downfall.
Challenges and problems are waving at me but I’m sure I’m gonna make it and surpassed  this event of my life and I know that I’ll study harder to achieve my goals in life.
