UNITE

 

     Many schools all the world celebrate the diversity of their student body. Many activities done  in able to showcase different native costumes, talents and cultures of every country  through young proud  individuals participating in this event. United Nations raise awareness of the consequences of the endangerment of indigenous languages across the world with an aim to establish a link between language, development, peace, and reconciliation.
     Languages play an important role in daily lives of all people. It is through language that we communicate with the world, define our identity, express our history and culture, learn, defend our human rights and participate in all aspects of society, to name but a few.
      Celebrating UN is very important to every individual. Through language, people preserve their community's history, customs and traditions, memory, unique modes of thinking, meaning and expression. Language is pivotal in the areas of human rights protection, good governance, peace building, reconciliation, and sustainable development.

Reflection

       

              In  every student like me cannot avoid finding new things  we have to discover new in able to learn and apply this in the near future. It was really breathtaking to  ascertain.
           
             I can say that this quarter was hard but I  surpassed the challenges because of the help of my parents they taught me that I have to study hard to achieve my dreams so by that I'm motivated to go school even if it's really that hard and my teacher in ICT 10  help me espand my knowledge and specially by the help of God . It's really hard but I challenged myself to study really hard.

              Two quarters had passed and two quarters are coming . Challenges are waving at me but I'm sure I'm gonna make it and I know that I'll study hard to  achieve my dreams. Now that third quarter will arrise I see myself as a hardworking and determined.

A day to remember

       

     Celebrating Teacher’s Day is a time to reflect on the teachers who were there for learning moments that defined every students classroom experiences. It’s also a day to realize that teachers are very important to each one of us.
Without our teacher we are nothing. They enhance our knowledge and skills in terms of education. Teachers has a part to our life , they stand as a second parent to us whenever we were in school, they teach us good morals and to value our education because this help us to achieve   our dreams. They sacrifice their time just for us to give us what’s best.
I salute all the teachers out there because we all know that being a teacher is not a joke. Teachers have so much works to do in school like doing their lesson plans and review their report or topics to be discussed. Teachers are not just our teacher to us, they were our hero.
The highlight of this event is to express the gratitude of students towards their loving teachers. Flowers, chocolates ,balloons, letters and many more surprises are done by students.

Intrams 2019

        There’s  no better way to help reduce the stress of every students body than to have a few friendly inter-campus competitions just like intramurals.
The highlights of this event is to encourage every student’s sports that they good at. They’re a great way to get active and to meet new people. Have you ever thought why students do sports? Absolutely, many people seem not to know the reasons, there are students who do sports for enjoyment. Everyday we can encounter these people. They regularly do sports, however, none of them realizes the benefits and importance of sports. In fact, vice versa, some people want to be fit and attractive.   
        Intramurals are  made for students who seek the opportunity to play sports. Intramurals are for everyone to have fun but still have a competitive edge.
      There are lots of sports that can be joined by students. This event help every students to showcase their sports that they were good at. Help to boost confidence of students to joined sports .

Treasure Discoveries

         

We all know that Science is everywhere , anything,  somebody or someone. Science is everything surrounds us Discover information about this world we live in. it’s worth it.
  Everything  in our  world that we use somehow or someway was made by science. Science has a part to everybody and has taken to us to an entirely new place because of this knowledge we can discover new things that will be useful in the near future and in generations to come.
Science is all around us from laptops that we use in doing school works. Science is to discover information about our natural world and even space to help us understand our existence.
Now, there are various activities that are implemented in every school. From the very first day of celebrating science month, there are so many activities to join such as the Search of Ginoo at Bb. Kalikasan 2019, Science Quiz and Poster-slogan making, Photo-envy and many more.
Science is really amazing. In this month, there are lots of activities that every student will learn. This activities are not created not only to enhance the skills of the students and their thinking abilities but to create an impact of good communication and to enjoy.

Vigan City Solidarity Celebration

Another great time to visit Vigan is during their World Heritage Cities Solidarity Day celebration every September. Vigan celebrate this wth other cities all over the world that have world heritage sites.
In Vigan this special day is actually commemorated with week-long festivities aimed at strengthening pride in the history and culture of Vigan. This aim is in keeping with the long-term goal of preserving the 630 heritage structures that date back from the 18th and 19th century. Vigan’s well preserved Spanish trading town environ has survived the test of time, including bombings during world War II.
Vigan is an island, which used to be detached from the mainland by three rivers, the great Abra River, the Mestizo River and the Govantes River. It is unique among the Philippine towns because it is the country’s most extensive and only surviving historic city that dates back to the 16th century Spanish colonial period.
Vigan was an important coastal trading post in precolonial times. Long before the Spanish galleons, Chinese junks sailing from the South China Sea came to Isla de Bigan through the Mestizo River that surrounded the island. On board were sea-faring merchants that came to barter exotic goods from Asian kingdoms in exchange for gold, beeswax and other mountain products brought down by natives from Cordilleras. Immigrants, mostly Chinese, settled in Vigan, intermarried with the natives and started the multicultural bloodline of the Biguenos.

Happy learners, Happy School

        It’s more fun in school with happy school movement. There are so many beautiful reasons to be happy, we need to explore and discover new things.
Happy schools movement seeks to promote every school in the region as a better and enjoyable place to study. Region 1 had launched the “Happy School Movement” to boost the efficient implementation of the K to 12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos Provinces.
Through this helps students that school is not just a place for learning but also for fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing.
Happy schools movement does not only concern learners but also the teachers, if the teachers were happy the students will be motivated. Happy teachers build in a happy environment and mold happy learners. Happy teachers will influence their students to be happy in terms in learning and at the same time happy in what they doing.
With this program, students should be treated with tender love and care regardless of their status in life, gender, cultural backgrounds and mental and physical capabilities. Every students should feel the equality so that they wouldn’t feel the gap between among students and will be happy in life and be motivated to study well.

Schools is a place of learning and discoveries. Students should not feel school as a miserable place it should be a place where in happy moments build in.
Happiness is more than doing fun things, it’s about doing meaningful things. Sometimes students just go in school for their friends and fun ,they just miss the happiness between them and not the school. They think school as a miserable place, if this will be the mindset of every student, they will not able to learn things.
Through this program, it will help every students to feel alive when they were in school and inspired to go in school to learn.
